We do not offer refunds, returns or exchanges on items received as Kickstarter rewards. We do, however, offer a 12-month warranty with our product.
As a new start-up, pledges from our Kickstarter backers help support us in running our business and growing it at the same time. We truly appreciate the support as it also allows us to collect customer feedback which further enables us to improve on our current product and develop new ones.
When someone backs a project on Kickstarter, they make a pledge that helps create something new. This is different from pre-ordering something that already exists as Kickstarter is not a store. This is the reason why the item the backer receives after making a pledge is known as a “reward” instead of a “purchase”. The “reward” is akin to a gift from the creator as a token of appreciation for their support to the business. In our case, that gift would be Bottle Bath TM.
We appreciate your support to our business and understanding of our policy. If the reward has ceased to offer any value to you, here are some suggestions that you might like to consider:
1. Offer your reward as a present. There could be someone you know, such as a friend or family member, to whom this reward could be valuable.
2. Sell the reward to another person. Rewards from Kickstarter are typically offered at attractive prices below the retail prices. You could consider selling your reward on a reselling marketplace website at the same value you got it for or even higher.
3. Give the reward another chance. Sometimes, it takes a while to get used to a new product and this could be true of ours, too.
